I Spent Sleepless Night

After losing you,

nothing is going on right,

and yesterday, 

I spent a sleepless night.

Today I decided to have,

a day's nap.

I wished you in my dreams,

somehow it will bridge the gap.

Meeting and parting , 

are the way of life,

it does not lasts forever.

and I am sure,

tomorrow we will be together.

If life is a punishment,

then depict all those,

lovely reasons to live.

If life is all about happiness,

then depict all those ,

sweet memories.

If life is an ocean,

then depict the thirst,

of waves,

to touch the shore.

If life is a flower,

then depict the struggle,

with thorns,

for fragrance.

If life is a meditation,

then depict the reason,

for lodging on truth.

if life is a warm winter morning,

then depict the lovely touches,

of the beloved.

If life is an unknown journey,

then depict the closeness,

in unknown relationships.

इसीलिए मैं

पहाड़ो की चोटियों पर,

जो काम करते हैं, 

उनसे डर न लगे

इसीलिए मैं,

 घाटियों  में काम करता हूँ.

ठहरे हुए पानी में ,

ठहरने का खतरा है,

इसीलिए मैं,

दरिया के साहिल को मुकाम करता हूँ.

 

असमान की बुलंदियों का  तस्सवुर,

सबको है,

 पर लौटना इसी ज़मी पर है,

 इसीलिए मैं,

 जो ज़मी की हकीक़त जानते हैं, 

 उनको सलाम करता हूँ.

दिल में तपिश है, 

आग से भी ज्यादा ,

इस आग के दरिया में,

डूबने की इक आदत सी हो गयी है,

इसीलिए मैं,

खुद को जलाने का इंतजाम करता हूँ.

 हवाओं की तो फितरत है,

चलते रहने की ,

रुकना मुझे भी गवारा नहीं,

 इसीलिए मैं, 

 चलते रहने की कोशिश तमाम करता हूँ.
